What is AMMG?

CME-accredited Conferences. Physician Education. Age Management Medicine Certification.

At the heart of AMMG is a passion—producing educational events that go well beyond the status quo. Balanced, diversified, inspirational, invigorating, interactive, challenging. For the past twenty-plus years, founders Rick Merner (AMMG’s Executive Director) and Greg Fillmore (AMMG’s Conference Chairman) have stayed the course, moving ahead of the medical shifts to ensure every conference embodies that mission.

Background Story

AMMG is a division of Red River Solutions, Inc., cofounded and owned by Rick Merner and Greg Fillmore. Rick and Greg have over seventy-five years of combined business experience, including thirty years combined experience in managing physician organizations; planning, marketing and implementation of all facets of medical conferences and education; website design and management; and development and distribution of print and online publications.

Back in 1998, Rick and Greg began working for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, splitting responsibility for conference management, operations, sales/marketing. They subsequently became part of the Intertec/Primedia acquisition of the Anti-Aging Conference from A4M in 1999 and worked for Primedia in that capacity until 2006, when Primedia discontinued the Anti-Aging franchise.

But change was in the air. In 2000, Rick and Greg created Red River Solutions and formed the Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG)—recognizing the growing demand for developing/managing moderate-size medical conferences. With that creation, AMMG’s events and publications became solely owned and produced by Red River Solutions, offering a turnkey conference service for companies, organizations, and individuals who are dedicated to delivering science-based educational information to physicians and healthcare professionals.

With Rick and Greg at the helm, Red River Solutions produced multi-year conferences as large as 3,500 attendees with 325 exhibit booths, developed/produced conference educational programs, managed conference proceedings, and developed/produced the start-up and production of successful print and online healthcare-industry-related publications.

That helped Rick and Greg accumulate valuable contacts in the commercial healthcare industry as well as forge a network of professionals involved in medical practices or scientific-and-research segments of the medical field.

Through Rick and Greg’s broad network, Red River Solutions established valuable working relationships with many providers of vital conference services, such as hotels, decorating services, audio/visual contractors, graphic designers, printers, fulfillment houses, web services, insurance agencies, sales personnel, and support staff. Today, their clients reap benefits, receiving the best rates and the most professional services available.

But medical excellence stays at the forefront. Red River Solutions developed—and continues to maintain—favorable relationships with ACCME-accredited providers of Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME), meeting or exceeding all ACCME requirements as outlined by these providers. Offering CME-accredited conferences and certification results in not only more ethical events but also more successful ones.

Rick and Greg’s experience, market focus, and dedication allow Red River Solutions the privilege of customizing a conference to a client’s specific needs. They offer professional, efficient, and cost-conscious services—the best combination for a successful conference.
